Venue: North Yorkshire - Register your interest!
Speaker:  Michael Mahoney

Presenting Stress Management Workshops to GP Practice Staff.
Plus
Presenting Stress Awareness to Corporates and SME’s

Michael has worked in GP medical practices since 1995 – he is no stranger to their needs.

Do you work in a GP medical practice?

Do you get referrals from GPs or consultants?

Would you like to, but not sure how to do it?

One way (and there are many) is to offer services to practice staff.

This one day masterclass will take you through an actual Stress Awareness Workshop delivered by Michael, which has been a regular event for multi-agency staff at a number of GP practices over the years.

You will also be given ideas and guidance on ‘first contact’ with the practice team, and much more! The notes cover, what is stress, sources of stress, physical symptoms, behavioural symptoms, Type A, Type B, Locus of control questionnaires, Support systems, work stress, home stress, types of stress - past, present and future, with reference to Chicken Liken, furry creatures, can-can music, and cotton buds, and much more! ...

It is different and enjoyable and therefore memorable!!!

(that is why Michael have been giving this workshop for 10 years to medical centre staff)

Benefits:

1: You will have the structure & ideas to present a professional, humorous, workshop and be paid   for it.  (Yes, you can even charge for this great opportunity!)

2: You get yourself known by staff and GPs over and above a simple leaflet in their practice and even better than word of mouth!

3: You show your understanding of their concerns and offer solutions, which reduce direct and indirect costs for their practice.

4: And of course, they won’t forget you! Which is good for patient referrals, future workshops, and HR work!

Is there more? Absolutely!

In addition to the Medical Centre Workshop, you will be taken through an actual Stress Presentation which has been presented to several Corporate Organisations which has created additional revenue streams for Michaels practice.

Start preparing for the new revenue streams into your practice!

Anything More? Of course!

Along the way, there will be hints and tips to working with the medical profession as well as large and small organisations.

After attending this one day workshop, you will be more aware of the pressures and demands experienced within a busy medical practice, this will help you to pitch your presentations, flyers and general contact with the medical profession with more understanding of their practice staff needs.

By being seen and heard by GPs, practice managers, nursing staff and administration teams, you are presenting yourself as well as your workshop, the workshop will be memorable (it has a history of being remembered and enjoyed!) you will be memorable, and you have every attendee as your ambassador, it will be a talking point for weeks within the practice, and of course when psychological services are needed, it places you in the forefront of the minds of decision makers and referrers.
